Dr. Yishurun Alemayehu, we should use the role of creating job opportunities in our country by strengthening and expanding our e-commerce business.

Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Ministry of Trade and Regional Relations, Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Ethiopian Airlines, Ethio Telecom, Ethiopian Postal Company, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa Transport Bureau, Private Sector and other stakeholders have held a forum to expand e-commerce services.

The platform aims to promote digital marketing and create a system that will be accessible not only in Ethiopia but also in Africa and to create job opportunities.

Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Yishurun Alemayehu, Ethiopia, has said that extensive work is being done to ensure the benefit of citizens by creating a system that enables them to share the role of digital technology in the world level.

Minister Deetaw said that our country is working with a lot of attention on policy and legal frameworks and telecommunication infrastructure development, the government should work in harmony and cooperation to improve the e-commerce market competition and achieve the expected economic growth of the sector.

In our country e-commerce business system has a great role to boost the national development program, to boost economic growth and to make Ethiopia competitive globally.

The minister of trade and regional communication, Mrs. Yasmin Wuharebi, has stated that our country is working on e-commerce business system to use the business sector for the development of the country's economy and results are being recorded.

Aklewum stressed that in order to make e-commerce business accessible at the country level and to achieve the desired goal, there should be a wide awareness raising work in all communities.
