Ministry of Innovation and Technology in collaboration with Extensia (Extensia Ltd) from February 19-20/2017 E. Accelerated Digital Transformation Summit 2025) which advises on Africa's digital future is being held in Addis Ababa.

The congress is aimed at implementing rapid digital transformation in Africa and achieving greater economic growth.

Minister of Innovation and Technology Dr. Belete Molla has urged Pan African policy makers, supervisors, industry leaders, professionals and investors to work together to accelerate digital transformation for Africa.

The time for action is now. The minister said across the continent, we must work hard to build digitalization economies, open up new opportunities and enhance Africa's position in the global market.

Digital services and ICT-led industries have realized that their potential for economic growth, job opportunities creation, realizing the potential and bringing all-round development requires cooperation, creativity and decisive action.

Extentia CEO Mr. Tariq Malik has stated that the conference has a significant role in highlighting new opportunities for the continent's accelerated digital growth, strengthening cooperation and connections between key decision makers, sector leaders and investors and expanding innovation.

It was stated at the conference that by implementing rapid digital transformation, we will work to build Africa's future digital economy in harmony and cooperation to achieve the desired result.

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology and Extension in Africa has more than 300 people participating in the conference including government and private sectors, decision makers and sector leaders, policy makers, supervisors, service providers and major ICT users.
