Senior leaders and employees of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology and the respondent institutions visited the industrial park in Kombolcha city.
The Honorable Dr. Bele Mola, Minister of Innovation and Technology, said that for Ethiopia to become a wealth tower, the youth should be ambassadors of peace and work to benefit themselves and the country by creating science, technology, innovation and digital capabilities.
He said that by expanding the good experiences in our country's industrial parks and facilitating the transfer of technology, human resource development activities will continue to be strengthened in order to increase the generation of entrepreneurs and owners of wealth rather than the generation of job-keepers.
He pointed out that the work being done in the Kombolcha Industry Park and the results obtained are not only surprising, but also that it has reached this level, which shows that it is possible to achieve the economic development of our country in a short period of time.
The Mayor of Kombolcha, Mr. Mohamed Amin, said that our city is a developing city with many industries, where people are respected for their bodies and live in love.
They mentioned that they would like to cooperate with the Ministry of Innovation and Technology on the construction of the Smart City to modernize the development of the city so that the work started today will continue to be strengthened.
