The Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, Zhongluo Jin, who made the opening speech at the forum, announced that China would like to continue strengthening its cooperation with African countries on the basis of mutual benefit.
Honorable Dr. Belete Molla Getahun , who spoke at this forum, pointed out that the cooperation between China and Ethiopia in digital development is strong and explained that efforts will be made to increase this cooperation to a higher level.
The minister explained what Ethiopia is doing to ensure digital transformation and the results obtained at the forum attended by ministers and ambassadors of many African countries.
At the same forum, China-Africa Digital Cooperation and Development Action Plan was announced. The action plan is to promote cooperation between China and African countries in digital development.
 The cooperation focuses on issues such as digital policy, digital infrastructure, innovation, security, digital skills.
The action plan includes the development of 5th & 6th generation technology, building artificial intelligence research centers, supporting technology startups with investments and building the capacity of experts in advanced and complementary technologies.
