National Research should support solution to the daily life of the society, H.E Minister Dr.Belete Molla

The Ministry of innovation and technology with the support received from the African technology research center (ACTS) has held a forum to assess the status of six research projects that it is conducting in collaboration with different research institutes and universities.

The Minister, Ministry of Innovation and Technology H.E  Dr. Belete Molla who was present on the stage said that” research is a key tool for the development of the country, effective research has an irreplaceable role in ensuring sustainable development”.

They have pointed out that there is a research that stays only on the shelf that their results will not turn into action, but now they have pointed out that it is necessary to build a research ecosystem that will enable us to record research results that can bring solutions in our daily lives.

The researches on science, technology and innovation have been pointed out that they can strengthen the participation of the youth and increase the creation of job opportunities and in general they will accelerate the national economic growth.

Many research works that are going on in the country have pointed out that effective technologies and solutions should be developed to reach the society.

The researches presented on the stage are based on energy, manufacturing, agriculture and health sectors, some of them have entered the market and started providing direct service to the society.
