The first African Biotechnology Conference hosted by Ethiopia has started in Addis Ababa. In his speech at the opening of the conference, the Minister of Innovation and Technology of the Federi, Dietta Baisa Bedada (Dr.) said that it is necessary to pay attention to science and technology to realize the overall development of the country and said that the government is ready to support the work done in the field of biotechnology. The purpose of the conference is to create a platform for Africa's broad and global biotech community, and it is said that it will enable discussion on the biotechnology sciences, emerging issues and challenges facing the African continent.
