The first African Biotechnology Conference started in Addis Ababa

The first African Biotechnology Conference hosted by Ethiopia has started in Addis Ababa. In his speech at the opening of the conference, the Minister of Innovation and Technology of the Federi, Dietta Baisa Bedada (Dr.) said that it is necessary to pay attention to science and technology to realize the overall development of the country and said that the government is ready to support the work done in the field of biotechnology. The purpose of the conference is to create a platform for Africa's broad and global biotech community, and it is said that it will enable discussion on the biotechnology sciences, emerging issues and challenges facing the African continent. It is also said to bring together researchers and academics, program managers and policy makers from across Africa for key discussions on current issues in biotechnology. It plays an important role in promoting the work being done in the area of ​​biotechnology science and other developments in Ethiopia. The conference was attended by experts in the field from various African countries, government officials, CEO of Polta Media and Communication Corporation, Muhammad Hassan, and others. The conference organized by the Ethiopian Biotechnology Society in collaboration with other governmental and non-governmental organizations will be held for four consecutive days starting today.
