The Ministry of Innovation and Technology held a project completion program for the construction of 24 smart communication rooms built by selected government institutions.
The Ministry of Innovation and Technology has held a closing ceremony for the construction of smart communication rooms in 10 federal institutions, 12 regional states and 2 city administrations, funded by the World Bank under the Digital Foundation Project, in the presence of officials and experts from the beneficiary’s institution.
The program aims to consult on the implementation of the purpose for which the smart communication rooms were built, to synthesize the experiences gained during the construction process and use them as a resource for the future, and to express gratitude for their contributions to the success of the project.
State Minister for the sector H.E Dr. Yeshurun Alemayehu noted that a wide range of activities are being carried out to modernize community services by building an accessible digital system in all parts of the country.
The state Minister, stated that the desire and coordination play a crucial role in making the digital sector accessible to all. All institutions are expected to access the one-stop service of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, saving their money and time and providing quality services without any hassle.
The Chief Executive Officer of ICT Infrastructure Development Administration of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Ato Yonas Hailu, said that the construction of smart communication rooms is one of the works being carried out to ensure the digital benefits of institutions.
He stated that the project was successful due to the provision of on-the-job training and training on the use of the digital system by creating strong relationships with the institutions involved in the sector.
Finally, a gratitude program was held for the experts and participants who contributed to the success of the project.
