Two research results were awarded in the category of STRIDE 2024 Best Research and Business Award (Stride Award).

Various events were held at the Stride Ethiopia 2024 Expo, which was held from May 10, and the research and innovation works done in the field were presented to the competition and the winners were recognized.
Medical devices and tissue processing machines designed to reduce infant mortality were honored at the STRIDE 2024 Best Research and Business Awards.
A medical device designed to reduce infant mortality was developed by Mr. Habtamu Abafogi and is a medical device that helps reduce infant mortality in health and medical research.
Ato Habtamu Abafogi has been awarded the best research category of Stride Award for developing and marketing this device.
In the same field, Dr. The new license was awarded for his efforts to improve food security, increase the local economy, create job opportunities and promote sustainable agriculture by successfully building and marketing food processing machines.
The Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Bele Mola, said that recognizing innovation and research experts at the event will help encourage future work and professionals.
The Honorable Professor Birhanu Nega, the Minister of Education who attended this program and presented the award, said that the promising work shown at Stride Ethiopia should be strengthened.
He said, "You should be proud of the fact that the activities you are doing are your own efforts. You should be careful not to let any puller try to hinder you. You are the future hopes of Ethiopia."
Honorable Minister Prof. Birhanu also presented the Stride Award for Building a Comfortable Ecosystem to the representative of the institution.
