In the 3rd round Ethiopian Tamert Expo, fifth day, a panel discussion was held on ways to upgrade manufacturing industries by combining technology with production.

The Minister of Innovation and Technology, Minister Daeta Yishurun Alemayehu (Doctor) who participated in the discussion program as a panelist, explained that using technology is not only a matter of survival for manufacturing industries. Besides, the world is moving towards Industry 5.0, we should also dream of Industry 5.0 (the fifth industrial revolution) and work hard and act with the idea of "haste and create".

Dr. Yishurun Aklewum has said that countries and companies that have not been able to use technology properly are out of competition and it is imperative to digitalize the manufacturing industry and modernize the manufacturing industry.

Since the competition world we are in doesn't wait, the government is working to create a situation like the country and institutions have started to work.

They recalled that the government is working by forming a policy and establishing a strategy and urged the private sector to meet its expectations.

Finally, the ministry has explained that the Ethiopian manufacturing industries are providing training and support to professionals and those in the field to modernize the manufacturing industry with digital technology starting with technology infrastructure.
