H.E Dr. Belete Molla, Minister of Ministry  of Innovation and Technology who participated in the opening discussion of ID4Africa today, explained the achievements of Digital Ethiopia 2025 and the changes that ID has brought to Ethiopia's digital transformation and the role it will play.

The minister said that especially the benefit ID card, digital payment system, data exchange and sharing systems and address systems with integrated digital public infrastructure will make Ethiopia's digital transformation better.

The minister said that the achievements of Digital Ethiopia 2025 are based on a clear and inclusive strategy as a result of integrated leadership at the country level and continuous evaluation. The next Digital Ethiopia 2030 will be implemented based on experiences and achievements gained in the past five years, new technological developments and developing national interests and global conditions.

From the Ethiopian digital transformation experiences, the basis of digital Ethiopia's success are clear and inclusive strategy, identifying national top agendas, implementing implementation focused on them, coordinated leadership at the country level and uninterrupted results and the formation of possible legal frameworks should be taken as lessons.
