Minister of Innovation Technology H.E Dr. Belete Molla has welcomed Ambassador of India and African Union Permanent Representative Hon. Anil Kumar Rai in his office and advised us to work together on Digital Ethiopia 2030 strategy.

Minister Dr. Belete Molla on behalf of Ambassador Anil Kumar Rai received a gift sent by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanked them for the gifts and conveyed a message to the followers of Indian Christmas and upcoming foreign New Year.

Minister Dr. Belete Molla has noted that Ethiopia is focusing on working with partners on Digital Ethiopia 2030 strategy to achieve better results than the achievements of Digital Ethiopia 2025.

The minister said that Ethiopia and India are countries with a long-standing cultural relationship. If our country has vast experience and capacity in digital technology, he wants to work with India so his cooperation is crucial to create new opportunities.

Ambassador Anil Kumar Rai pointed out that Ethiopia's digital transformation journey will not only be successful but also be a great experience for Africa.

The Indian government and investors are interested in working together on Digital Ethiopia 2030 and will continue the partnership in space, biotechnology, nuclear, ICT and other sectors.

H.E Dr. Belete Molla has been invited to attend the technology fair organized by India by advising on cooperation works.
