H.E Dr. Bayisa Bedada stated that the preparation of the national startup digital platform is a key role in building the startup culture

The first demand analysis phase has started by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Startup Ethiopia Digital platform.

This project started in cooperation with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) aims to provide access to services and information for startups and startup ethics developers in the country and to develop a digital platform to strengthen the startup ethics building in the country.

The minister of innovation and technology, Dr. Baysa Bedada, said the startup Ethiopia digital platform development project will be prepared according to the startup proclamation. The implementation of the proclamation alongside the legal process will create the ability to implement the proclamation quickly.

Minister Daetaw stated that it is necessary to develop their role in the country's economy by creating a curriculum suitable for startups. He pointed out that it is important to create resources suitable for the sector to be competitive in the digital world that is increasing from time to time.

Korea International Cooperation Agency project team leader Mr. Yoon presented his experiences and the works that have been started. The discussion stated that the project will be a big step in Ethiopia's journey towards digital transformation and innovation led economic growth.
