Ministry of Innovation and Technology played an important role for the success of Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy.

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology has accelerated the country's digital transformation by focusing on policy, technology base and digital skills development in order to turn Ethiopia's "Digital 2025" vision into action.

Minister of Innovation and Technology Dr. Belete Mola has said that the measures taken on digital strategy has been taken to strengthen the partnership between government and private sector and expand digital services nationwide.

The minister noted that he has contributed to reducing the cost of government services by expanding e-government services, increasing the speed and transparency of services, increasing the trust of the people and reducing the cost of public services.

The works done in the field of technology infrastructure have laid the foundation to improve internet access and data service quality and to be able to afford the digital economy.

Manpower empowerment was the main agenda of the success of "Digital Ethiopia 2025", the minister said that the youth have been widely participated in training, coding and digital skills programs.

Digital Ethiopia 2025, by strengthening innovation centers and start-up programs, they have created a convenient curriculum that will be helpful to promote the development of new ideas and bring new technologies into the market.

The minister pointed out that he has done a great job to strengthen cooperation with international institutions and countries to expand the exchange of technology experience and to develop domestic skills.

The success of "Digital 2025" in practice has made a positive impact on the economy, education and service sectors and has enabled the creation of technology solutions.

In general, the work done by the ministry of innovation and technology under the leadership, cooperation and continuity of "digital 2025" has proved that it is possible to achieve a better result for digital Ethiopia 2030 strategy.
