Understanding the potential of the digital technology for human beings, the government has paid special attention to the sector and many changes have started to be seen. H.E Minister Belete Molla

On the 2nd of Reform Day, a panel discussion was held at the Addis Ababa Science Museum, attended by top and middle managers of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice and the Civil Service Commission and invited guests.
The Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Bele Mola, who was present at the panel discussion, said that since the implementation of Digital Ethiopia 2025, extensive works have been done to enable the human being to succeed by empowering himself and modernizing the process of living.
He pointed out that the tangible change that Ethiopia has made in telecommunications is an indication of how much the digital sector has contributed to the economic development of our country.
He noted that when it comes to digital in our country, the money transfers and communications that have been created in the transaction system have become the topic and they have achieved their goals in an easy and streamlined way.
The Honorable Minister said that reform is a crossroad for all to bring prosperity to the sector by changing the existing legal frameworks, policies, guidelines and regulations to create a favorable environment for the actors of the work to engage in investment.
Many works are being done to create a capable human resource in the field to make a digitally built Ethiopia a reality, especially the Five Million Ethiopian Coder Initiative, which is making many internationally recognized certificate holders, is being given in four training areas, he urged everyone to take advantage of it.
