At this time our country is experiencing rapid growth in ICT. Among these, the growth of mobile internet service, the increase of mobile users and the decreasing of internet prices are a big indication that Ethiopia's digital economy is expanding.
In addition, cybersecurity frameworks, digital ID registration number of users, e-payment growth and expansion of online government services are key achievements of our country.
The efforts of digital financial asset implementation are also bearing fruits and the ICT park has been working in its sector to promote the development and creation of mobile money platforms like Telebur, Mpesa.
In order to further develop the sector, we need to develop a convenient process system that is aligned with international frameworks such as the African Free Market (AfCFTA), the Eastern and Southern Zone Common Market (COMESA), and the World Trade Organization (WTO), the production of professionals with technical knowledge in the sector, the coordination of laws that are scattered in institutions, the implementation of inclusion issues and cybersecurity concerns. It's a must.
From now on, it is necessary to prepare strong standard policies, e-commerce laws and guidelines and implement them in accordance with Ethiopian Digital Strategy 2025.
The Ministry of Innovation and Technology in collaboration with the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) which is found under the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of South Korea, based on a project proposal on standard police and electronic commerce law frameworks, the Ministry of Education and Technology that supports and improves the digital economy of our country. The South Korean government has said that the support is given by hiring consulting companies to help Ethiopia's digital transformation efforts, especially through electronic transaction, e-commerce and other digitalization plans is to share its experiences and capacities.

The result of the group is that Ethiopia is going to make the process stable for its journey to the membership of the African Free Trade Zone Union, continental trade links and World Trade Organization membership. It is expected that it will provide a solution to solve the challenges faced in the field.
