The ministry of innovation and technology is holding a workshop with scholars from France and Sudan Republic to enhance the use of digital technology.

The study aims to build the digital economy and ensure mutual benefit among the scholars of Ethiopia, France and Sudan in the field of education, innovation, technology and digital knowledge sharing and exchange of experience.

Minister of Innovation and Technology Dr. Yishurun Alemayehu said Ethiopia is doing a lot of work in cooperation with Africa and other partner countries in the academic sector of education that enables to build the digital economy.

The state Minister said Ethiopia is working in cooperation with partners. The workshop that is being held with scholars from French educational institutions and scholars from Sudan University and senior professionals working to enhance the use of digital technology has a great role for the country.

Ambassador of France and Horn of Africa Mr. Bertkand Kochery in Ethiopia, Republic of Sudan, in order to equip young people with the technology that is needed in order to equip them with new technologies and to lay the foundation of knowledge and skills, it is important to implement new projects.

The Ethiopian ambassador of Sudan has said that the workshop that is being held is very important to bring the cooperation relationship between the countries to a higher level.

The seminar will last for three consecutive days and is attended by scholars, professors, senior experts and researchers from the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, the Horn of Africa University of France and the University of Technology of the Republic of Sudan.

In the survey, it is expected that the use of digital technology among the countries will enhance mutual understanding, exchange of experience, research, innovation, digitalization and economic growth.
