The meeting was held in the presence of the State Minister of Innovation and Technology H.E  Dr. Yeshurun ​​Alemayehu, and the ministry’s leaders at the Federal Housing Corporation, where they also visited the works done to digitalize the institution.

During the meeting, the State Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Yeshurun ​​Alemayehu, said that in order for Ethiopia to achieve its digital transformation journey, all institutions are required to provide their services through a digital system that is in line with the times and ensures customer satisfaction.

The Minister said that modernizing operations with digital technology is a voluntary obligation and that the Ministry of Innovation and Technology will provide the necessary support to the institutions’ efforts to modernize their comprehensive operations.

Ato Getu Zewde, Director of the Housing and Property Management and Leasing Directorate of the Federal Housing Corporation, explained that a wide range of activities have been carried out to digitalize the institution's operations. He added that they would like to work in collaboration with the Ministry of Innovation and Technology and receive support to modernize the housing administration sector with digital technology and streamline its operations.
