It has been stated that Ethiopia will share many capabilities from the 4th African Startup Conference held in Algeria.

The 4th African Startup Conference in Algeria, Algeria with the theme "for the emergence of African champions" has been held in the presence of senior government officials from different countries of the world, experts and stakeholders.

Representing Ethiopia at the 4th African Startup Conference Minister of Innovation and Technology Deeta Dr. Baysa Bedada, Special Envoy of Ethiopia and Ambassador in Algeria His Excellency Ambassador Muktar Mohammed and representatives of FDRE Mission in Algiers are present.

Dr. Baysa Bedada, who led the Ethiopian delegation at the ministerial conference, stated that Ethiopia is giving special attention to innovation system building and is doing a lot of work in the legal frameworks, infrastructure and capacity building.

Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed has mentioned in his speech that major movements have taken place in the startup sector in Ethiopia within the few years since he came to power.

Ethiopia will share a lot of capabilities from the 4th African Startup Conference, Minister Deetaw said that his country is interested in working with African Union Regional Organizations, African Union Member States and other countries and international organizations in the startup sector to achieve many achievements.

In order to increase the quality of the connection in the country, they have stated that many works are being done in the telecom sector including the installation of 3G, 4G and 5G network, introducing the digital national ID card in the country, making it accessible to all citizens, upgrading the financial technology, and enabling the young generation to use the technology of human-made intelligence.

Aklewum has realized that the new Ethiopian Startup Declaration will provide financial assistance to support startups with technology and many other benefits from the government.

Investors and startup supporters in the sector have been called to invest in the ethiopian culture.

Akleum said it is important to build a strong, inclusive and competitive creative institution that supports young Africans with vision.

The 4th African Startup Conference opened by Algeria Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb focused mainly on new technologies, telecommunication infrastructure, the environmental impact of digital technology, climate change adaptation and the role of man-made thinking in Africa's future.

Government officials and senior officials of the sector from more than 35 countries, more than 25,000 participants, 200 exhibitors, 300 international experts and 150 investors have participated in the conference.
