Minister of Innovation and Technology Deeta Dr. Bayisa Bedada and French Development Agency Ethiopia Director Mr. Louis Antony, a fruitful discussion has been held regarding areas of support that are crucial to strengthen the startup culture in Ethiopia.

Regarding the startup proclamation and related issues, discussion has been held about the participation of Ethiopian startups in the international startup event in France and the activities that the minister office has done regarding the startup.

Following the discussion with the minister's office, the French development agency has announced that it is preparing to donate 10 million Euros to strengthen the startup administration in cooperation with the European Union and Experts France.

This will also help to implement the long-awaited Startup Proclamation that will be implemented soon.

In addition to this, there was a wide discussion and understanding on improving startup incubation models and strengthening the capacity of startups, increasing and multiplying funds sources and it was shown during the discussion that it will continue to work in a vigorous way.

In the end, the startups in Ethiopia will participate in the startup curriculum activities in Europe and France, Honorable Dr. Baisa Bedada and Mr. Louis Antony have indicated that they will work together in the future.
