His Excellency Aji Ali, Minister of Communication and New Information Technology, Mr. Abdu Ibrahim, Director of Legal Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Director of National Identity Digitization and Mr. Mahamedu Maman, Principal Secretary of the Embassy of Niger today, May 14, 2017, at the invitation of the Minister of Innovation and Technology, His Excellency Dr. Belelte Molla, visited commercial data centers (Raxio Ethiopia and Wingu Africa) in the Ethiopian Information Technology Park, as well as local and foreign companies engaged in software development, information technology services, manufacturing, business process outsourcing and training.

During his visit, His Excellency Aji Ali praised Ethiopia’s digital transformation journey and said that the results of the activities being carried out in all digital sectors are clearly visible.

He also noted that Ethiopia's rapid digital journey and success provide valuable experience to African countries, and said that his country, Niger and the Sahel region, will also strengthen their cooperation with Ethiopia in this field.
